Facilities :-

Age-group based Campus

At Tatva, our buildings and campus space are architected to suit children of designated age-groups and seniority. Our age-group based facility separation is a conscious attempt to bisect aging thoughts with that of the fresh ones. We believe it is very important to nurture children for who they are at their age.

Facilities are more than just architecture, bricks and cement. They need to reverberate the vibe to aid in exciting learning. At Tatva we have imagined the infrastructure with an aim to uphold and promote the sanctity of learning together with the fun of growing up, both contributing for a higher purpose.

While we have designed novel initiatives that keep children engaged with a new form of learning, we have also interlaced technology and infrastructure to act as a key enabler in the learning process. Students are encouraged to proactively share knowledge through projects and public speaking.

In Class Library

We foster a more purposeful interpretation of a library. At Tatva, a library is not confined to a single 4-walled repository. While knowledge itself is not absolute, why a place be?

With an aim to provide access to knowledge of all means and form, at any time, we have realized our idea of providing access to books, dictionaries and other reference materials, inside all class rooms. Our aim is to ensure students are on a timely path of a knowledge curve of relevance.

Apart from in-class libraries, there is a big central library that includes an extensive collection of books, educational DVDs, audio medias, magazines, newspapers, encyclopedias, dictionaries and atlases.

Labs

Books impart knowledge; but a much better way to learning is by performing a direct experiment of the theories. Going by the proverb, "Practice makes a man perfect", we have accommodated advanced laboratory facilities to help each child learn and explore things that are taught in class rooms.

Though most lab activities are performed in groups, seldom can everyone in the group actively participate. To realize the sense of a group activity, it is imperative that each one in the group contributes. At Tatva, our Information & Communication Technology (ICT) labs are designed to attract each child so that they can actively participate and individually contribute in active learning. Our expert mentors provide individual attention to each student, and each lab facility is supervised and mentored to ensure a glitch-free and safe environment for children.

Faculty :-

At Tatva, our experienced and skilled teaching staff are passionate to help children realize and perform to their potential. We don't believe that the only source of learning is an individual teacher, but a teacher helps connect the content with the context.

Teachers at Tatva are involved in quality time with students while dining, conducting activities and various other initiatives that helps in strengthening the student-teacher relationship. Alongside following the curriculum, our teachers inculcate an enthusiasm for learning and nurture a values-based questioning and critical thinking.

We understand it is highly important that a teacher empathizes with students, to ensure they are on the right track. We conduct constant assessments of both the teaching methodology, the teachers and students that helps us measure our position and improve upon.

Sports & Co-Curricular Activities :-

Historically, it is proven that sports and culture have contributed to a child's growth and development. It has the power to transform a child, the society he/she lives in and aids in establishing a sense of belonging.

To harness this collective power, we have ensured there are adequate facilities and programs designed for physical and cultural activities. The programs imaginatively help our children to reflect on their inner self and their desires to express in the fields of sports and culture.

Sporting Infrastructure

We have ensured, what many schools can only dream in creating space and facilities for sports. To leverage facilities, we have created schedules that compel students to dedicate about 90 minutes of compulsory physical/sporting activities. We believe that physical activities should just not be time fillers, they are as necessary as studies. They in fact rejuvenate and energize a stale mind and greatly impact a child'Shuttle s progress.

Our sports curriculum is designed to go beyond normal physical training drills and open field games. We encourage children to do more than just playing cricket and football. Along with our full-sized cricket and football fields, we have a full-fledged swimming pool an indoor stadium and various other facilities. Our professional dedicated training staff will not only oversee physical sessions, but also ensure real talent is identified, and fostered into the making of a sportsperson.

To ensure hassle free sessions, we have allocated a full-time nursing staff in case of casualties during the play hours.

Our infrastructure consists of the following

  • Soccer, Handball and Kho-Kho fields
  • Indoor facilities for - Shuttle badminton, Table Tennis, Chess, and caroms
  • A 25m*10m - large Swimming Pool that can conduct competitive swimming event
  • Lawn Tennis, Basketball and Volleyball Courts
  • Cricket Nets
  • Debate & Quiz Clubs

Children can take part in debates and quizzing on interesting topics. From science, history, general knowledge and sports, children are encouraged to be abreast of many such topics. This helps them develop social thinking, up their knowledge level and foster an analytical mind along with critical thinking.

  • Elocution

Children are encouraged to take part in public speaking classes, to allay any fears while on stage or while addressing a gathering.

  • Crossworld Club

We have innovatively used this game to improve vocabulary as well as create interest in subjects. There are weekly assessments through cross-word puzzles. Soon, children will be creating their own grids.

Sparking the Imaginative Mind

To ensure that a child grows in his/her thinking, and development, we foster activities that helps them articulate ideas, to think and question rationally. We ensure this by regularizing students' participation in various literary activities. Students are encouraged to join literary clubs that engages them in story writing, forming crosswords and other idea generating activities.

Children love to explore. There are thousands of things a child sees and feels ecstatic about, and tries to emulate in some one way or another. This is a sign that a child is willing to learn and explore.

At Tatva, we believe that as parents and guardians it is important to indulge by identifying and assessing a child's interests, and moulding young talent to give it the best shape and form. To realize this objective, we have devoted compulsory weekly hours for children to involve in various cultural & social clubs and skill learning activities.

Teaching Methodology :-

Imparting knowledge is considered as one of the noblest of activities. Teachers help in creating better individuals. At Tatva, we have enhanced our motto through our teaching methodology that contributes for a global citizen in the making!

While there is constant exchange of information all over, seldom do we find regular discussions on ethical standards and demonstrating values. At Tatva, we firmly believe that cultivation of good values, a sense of appreciation for life and a questioning mind is very essential for a child’s upbringing. Inculcating higher standards and moral values will help children to brave life’s challenges with confidence. Our efforts are focused to aid their thinking to be true and just and their minds tuned to critical and emotional reasoning eventually resulting in character building.

Food :-

Children learn table etiquette.

They watch friends eat and "follow the herd". They also learn to share / serve with friends on the table.

Food is equitable among all children.

Healthie-living (a dietetics company) designs our food program as we care to provide a balanced diet.

We share the menu in advance with recommendations for dinner - clearly defining the protein, carbohydrate and nutrient requirements for children.

We are always open for parents to join the students and faculty for lunch.
