Supervised and genuinely mentored

Every lab session is supervised and monitored, and our mentors give individual attention rather than running the room on autopilot, so real understanding gets checked, not just assumed.

Because belonging isn't taught in a lesson. It's felt in the small ritual of a whole school singing the same words, on the same morning, for the same reasons.

Four capacities. One kind of human being.

Cognition, Curiosity, Compassion, Character, Contribution — not five separate lessons, but one system that compounds. Here’s what each one means inside a Tatva classroom, and how they build on each other.

Cognition

the foundation

First, we build strong thinkers. Reading, reasoning, numeracy, the ability to hold an idea and turn it over. Everything else stands on this.

Curiosity

the engine

We protect the question. Our kids are allowed to wonder out loud, try new things, get it wrong and go again. Curiosity is the difference between a child who’s taught and a child who learns.

Compassion

the glue

A lesson builds cognition; a conversation nurtures compassion. We teach kindness as a skill — noticing, including, helping.

Character

the spine

Character is what your child does when no one’s marking it. Honesty, effort, keeping their word. We teach it on purpose.

The overview

Four capacities. One kind of human being.

The Four Cs are not a poster on a wall. They are how our teachers teach, how we assess a child, and how we measure whether we’ve done our job.

Cognition

The foundation. We teach children how to think, not what to memorise.

Curiosity

The engine. We protect the instinct to ask “why” instead of training it out.

Compassion

The conscience. Intelligence that notices, listens, includes and cares.

Character

The synthesis. Integrity built through everyday choices, not lectures.

The outcome is a larger purpose in making a global citizen.

The purpose. A child who can think, stays curious, cares, and
holds to character is ready to give back – to a classmate, a team, a community, a country.

Why it matters for your child

Most schools begin with the score. We begin with a quieter question: who is this child becoming? Our goal is to guide our kids to grow up and make good judgements in life, because education should build the ability to make the right decisions, not just recall the right answers.

Why we lead with people, not a logo

Viswanath Sivaswamy left a career building technology companies to build good judgement in children instead, convinced that a great education shouldn’t be reserved for the few. That conviction, and the team he brought together around it, is the actual story of this school.

Libraries in every classroom

We reimagined the library. Alongside a large central library, stocked with books, educational media, magazines, encyclopedias and atlases. We put books, dictionaries and reference materials inside every classroom, so nothing stands between a child and their next question.

Life at Tatva

This is what a Tuesday looks like here.

Muddy hands. Sharp minds. Questions asked out loud, without waiting to be called on. Come see what curiosity looks like when it’s allowed to be loud, messy and completely genuine.
