Eleven values that become who your child is.

Ours aren’t framed in the lobby and forgotten. We focus on one value each month, so that over a Tatva childhood, eleven values become part of your child’s core.

The overview

How Tatva builds character deliberately, a value-a-month rhythm that, over 12 years, aims to embed eleven values so deeply they travel with your child into college and beyond.

How we hold our values

At Tatva, values are not a ‘moral science’ class on the timetable. Values sit in the heart of every school day, every conversation, and every choice.

Each month, we bring one value into focus and help children understand what it looks like in real life: in the classroom, on the playground, with friends, and at home. Over their years with us, they grow with eleven enduring values, not as words to memorise, but as habits to live by.

We believe a value a child truly carries in their heart is worth far more than a long list they may one day forget.

January

Being Courteous To treat every individual with kindness and dignity.

February

Being Helpful To lend a hand and support every individual in need.

A Year of Values

Each month, students embrace a value that builds character and compassion.

october

Being Acceptive To accept everyone as they are by respecting each other's differences.

Being Patient To know the right time to speak or act in any situation and practise patience.

december

Being Honest To be truthful and genuine about your opinions, thoughts and actions.

Why it matters to you

When a school’s values are real, you can hear them in how your child talks at dinner. That’s the test we hold ourselves to — that our values become part of who your child is, not just something they were told.

One value in focus each month, school-wide.
